I was excited to try the new Toad&Co denim, but these unfortunately didn't work for me. The denim feels soft and nice, but I didn't love the shape for my body type and the fit ran smaller than other T&C pants. My body measurements put me in a size 2 (26" waist, 26" hips), but the 2 was way too tight, and the 4 also felt a little tight in some spots. I have a long torso, and the rise fit awkwardly on me, riding up and feeling uncomfortable (ugh), and also a little too snug for comfort on my waist. A 6 might have worked, but I didn't like the shape enough to try. The inseam also looked shorter on me than on the models who are taller than me. Darn!

First, I LOVE T&C! These jeans are the first return in years. I couldn’t get the sizing right. I ordered my normal size in T&C pants, but found them too snug so I ordered a size up. The size up just felt off. Too much fabric, really stiff material, but still tight in all the wrong places, if that makes any sense? Not sure if they would have softened with a few washes and wears? I am short and curvy/athletic. Anyhow, still a T&C for life, just not a fan of these particular jeans.
