Our 2024 Wrapped: The Toad Community's Impact
What a year! As we set our sights on 2025, we’re looking back at the Toad Community’s amazing impact (that's you) and our proudest moments:
Giving Back
Through our donation option at checkout, you supported:
- 8 days of overnight camp for an LGBTQ+ teen through Brave Trails
- 147 nights of camping for people with disabilities through Search for Adventure
- 2,209 seedlings planted, 14 endangered island foxes medically treated, covered transportation for 117 students through Channel Islands Park Foundation
- Overnight camping experiences for 119 youth through Wilderness Inquiry
- Lodging and travel in DC for 2 conservation advocates through The Conservation Alliance
Sustainability
- Diverted 1,849,371 plastic bottles out of landfills with recycled polyester styles – that's enough to fill 36 shipping containers!
- Shipped 100% of clothes in FSC-certified, curbside recyclable paper bags.
- ToadAgain repaired 130+ items, resold 5,600, and ZERO styles went to the landfill.
- ToadAgain saved 1.4 million gallons of water by selling 2,005 tees (not-so-fun fact: it takes 700 gallons of water to make one new t-shirt).
- Diverted 53 tons of fabric from landfills.
Behind the Scenes
- We grew the team by 5 new Toads and welcomed 2 new tadpoles to the world (babies of Team Toad members)
- Hosted 5 Lunch-And-Learns, including 'how to sew and mend,' Hispanic Heritage Month, local ballot initiatives, and neurodiversity awareness training
- Landed on Outside Magazine's Best Places to Work list for the 15th year
- Volunteered over 300 hours collectively
- Donated to 25 non-profits doing amazing work for people and the environment through our 1% for the Planet partnership
